The solar technology company revealed that its expansion in the South Africa market has been fueled by the unprecedented growth of sales in the region.

Leading solar technology manufacturer, Trina Solar, has opened a new office in Johannesburg and a warehouse in Cape Town as growing demand for its solar products in the South Africa market continues to rise exponentially.

The solar technology company revealed that its expansion in the South Africa market has been fueled by the unprecedented growth of sales in the region. The company reported that it tripled solar PV module sales volumes in 2023.

According to Trina, the new office and warehouse aim to enhance the company’s distribution network in South Africa. The company’s n-type module portfolio is based on leading 210mm product technology and n-type i-TOPCon cell technology, which can be applied in numerous settings to help customers meet their energy goals,“ said Gonzalo de la Viña, Trina EMEA President.
